Recreation camps offer participants the opportunity to challenge themselves to explore what they love, learn new skills and forge lasting friendships in a safe, supportive environment.

How to Register 

  • Register Online or call any of the camp locations listed below. Starting at 9 a.m. April 18.
  • Some camps must be paid in full when you register. For all others, you can reserve a space with $25, full payment is due three weeks prior to start date. Non-payment will result in withdrawal from the camp.
  • A 5% sibling discount may be given when two siblings are registered for a camp during the same week. Discount can be applied when registering in person or on the phone. Some restrictions apply, can not be used with other discounts.

Preschool Camps

Amazon Arts Preschool Camps

Ages 3-5

Offered weekly July 5-August 25, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Petersen Barn Summer Play Adventures

Ages 3-5

Offered weekly July 3-September 1, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Have a summer of adventure. Play games, create works of arts, explore and sing. Each week we will explore a unique theme. Daily snacks are provided. For more information call 541-682-5521.

Sheldon Preschool Camps

Ages 3 years 9 months-5 years

2445 Willakenzie Road

Offered weekly July 5-September 1, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • No late check ins after 9 a.m. or early check outs before 2 p.m.
  • Extended care available 8-9 a.m. and 2-5:30 p.m.
  • Extended care requires registration and fee. To register call at least one week before camp starts.

Experienced preschool teachers will guide children through fun and engaging explorations in and around Sheldon Community Center. Each week has a different theme and will include art, outdoor play, nature exploration and water play. Preschool camps are for youth who have been in a care setting previously and are potty trained.
