Enjoy the Bounty of the Earth
Since 1978, Eugene’s community gardens have been growing friendships, community involvement and an appreciation of the land. By giving participants the opportunity to cultivate their own gardens, the Community Gardens Program helps people experience a special connection to the earth and their community.

How to apply for a plot
Submit the Plot Inquiry Form. Given the limited number of plots available, all plot assignments are decided by lottery between January 15 and February 15. Any remaining plots after March 15 are available on a first come, first served basis.
Low-income gardeners may submit a Community Garden Scholarship Application to receive a plot fee discount.
Community Organizations may submit a Community Garden Partnership Application to have the plot fee waived.
Sites
There are six community gardens throughout Eugene with a total of more than 340 plots.
